CNY Nin Chor Sei

Went to someone’s house in the afternoon. Chilled around, watched tv, tidy up the messy room while waiting to go his auntie’s open-house at night. Gambled there with his siblings, and relatives. Get back to his house and wait for second round to gamble with his friends. Whoaa…! xD

This is the greatest day of all. A day to bai nin with the college friends and non-stopped of gambling. LOL~! First, i had lunch with someone and meet up with all the college friends at Connaught. Then we, 4 cars head to hewmeiteng’s house, to fetch her to our first station, which is Elsen’s house at Serdang. Sit for a while, get angpau then off to the next station-Hewmeiteng’s house.

5 cars departed from Elsen’s house to Hewmeiteng’s house. So damn kua jiong. Reached her house, sit for a while, get angpau, watch tv.. and then it’s time to start gamble. Her brother being the banker. We all lose. >.<

Then Reagan be the banker. Everyone seems like winning back a bit. Muaahaha.. Alrights, enough of gambling for the moment..let’s go for the next station-TehMouSeng’s house.

Again, reached there..straight away start gamble. He has a gin-rummy set there as well. So..some of them played gin-rummy instead of blackjack.

Chinese New Year - Part 1

Thursday, March 25th, 2010

Ok, i’ve delayed this post for quite some time already. It’s time for me to roughly write about it. Not to only let you know bout my life, but also for myself to remember about it. This year will be the best chinese new year for me, as i’ve been out for almost everyday during the holiday. Not only with family, there are outings with my beloved ji muiz and dearest friends as well. =)

In the midnight, i went to Sunway Pyramid for movie with someone and his sisters. The movie was 72 Tenants of Prosperity which i’ve already mentioned before at here.

CNY Nin Chor Yee

Went to bai nin with someone at his family’s side of relatives. Then dinner at my auntie’s house and back home for gamble with my brother’s frens. Hehe~ that’s all for that day.

The twins went back to Kampar, while babi blur went back to Aussie again. It’s time to separate again. It’s always sad to say goodbye. Kampar may sounds nearer compared to Aussie, but still, it’s sad that we cant meet that often anymore. =(

PappaRich, The Traditional Malaysian Style

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

For your information, PappaRich was established in 2006 with the opening of its first PappaKopitiam in Selayang Mall. As for today, it has over 32 outlets in the Klang Valley under the brand of PappaRich.

PappaRich is a halal eatery and they served mainly Malaysian’s all-time favourites food such as traditional toast with kaya and butter, nasi lemak, fried kuey teow, curry laksa, asam laksa, chicken rice, prawn mee, cendul, ice kacang and many many more. You may have a look at their menu at HERE. No worries, they are all available at affordable prices.

1-1

To be honest, i’ve never been to PappaRich before although they have already existed since 4 years ago. But this year, i finally got the chance to step into PappaRich. The first time was during Chinese New Year, with my dear. While the second time was two days after my first time, with my college friends. Why like tat ah? Two times in a week? =.=

dsc02840-2-copy

I had the Dry Curry Mee for the first trial while dear ordered Chicken Porridge as he was sick at that time. Both of it taste good and the price is at RM8.90 and Rm7.90 each. The quantity of the food may be less, but it’s good enough to make u feel *burp*. xD

reagan and elsen

Reagan had Ipoh Koay Teow Soup with Sliced Chicken, and he said that Old Town’s taste better than this.  Hmm..Elsen said his Curry Laksa taste good but it was too spicy for him.

steven’s and hewmeiteng’s

Steven’s Dry Koay Teow with Prawns. It taste normal like any other stall. While the Asam Laksa, i’ve tried the soup. And personally, i felt that it taste good if compare with Old Town. Hmm..just my two cents.

dsc02857-1

This is Lychee Cincau and it is highly recommended by Kiatzai, and I. Kiatzai said, when u’re feeling damn hot, u try this..and u will straight away feel the cool air around you. Hahahaha..wtf. Sounds excessive hor? But it’s true la, and it’s good to have this in Malaysia where the weather is always that hot. Mind you, the ice and the cincau is extremely cold and they are nice to munch as well. =)

Kiat Zai’s 21st Birthday Celebration

Friday, March 5th, 2010

About one month ago, it was one of my close friend, Kiatzai’s twenty-first birthday. Yes, i know it’s a bit late for posting it now. Still the same reason, im busy and lazy. So.. sorry la but i know he wont blame me for that because… he’s a lengzai maaa. Horr? HAHAHAHAHHA~

The party held one day earlier which is on 31st of January at his house. Such a coincidence, that day was also my dear’s birthday. Okla…and also my friend, Queenie’s birthday. Errr… nothing much actually, just wanna mention bout it. =P

So.. i accompanied my dear in the afternoon and he sent me to Kiatzai’s house at night. Most of the college friends were already there. Everyone is busy talking, shouting, laughing and eating. Not only college friends were invited, even his secondary school friends, clubbing gang, and many more chapalang gang were there.

can u see the crowd?

I’ve met this *cough cough* lengzai long time ago when i was in my secondary school. I met him in tuition centre and get to know that he’s my friend’s so-called-foster-brother. Hmm..but still, i dont know him at that moment until… two and a half year ago, my first semester in UCSI through Reagan. xD

brother ! aiya..ok la..ji muii laa.. xD

Ever since then, three of us often yamcha after class, gossip about this about that, and eventually we get closer and closer as time pass. Three of us were like brothers and sister who talk about almost anything and everything. =)

Although all of us are not taking the same course in the future, i hope we will still willing to spare at least some time to have lunch or a drink together once in a while. Im happy that after 5 semesters knowing each other, we’re still able to hang out together, eat together and laugh together even though we’re not in the same classes anymore.

Not to forget, two other friends, Shuet Yee and Sam whom i get to know through Kiatzai during the Port Dickson trip in 2008. We rarely see each other, but when we do, we dont act like strangers. And that’s what we called friendship. =)

72 Tenants Of Prosperity

Sunday, February 21st, 2010

The “72 Tenants Of Prosperity” (72 TOP) movie is referencing the Shaw Brothers 1973 classic film called, The House Of 72 Tenants. Many of you might not know what does this classic film about. So do I. Anyhow, i get the chance to watch this movie by staying at home today. And i realized that 72 TOP is a new creation, but still maintaining some of its original roles in “The House Of 72 Tenants”.

houseof72tenants

Hmm..for your information, in the oldies time, most high-class movies filmed in Hong Kong is recorded in Mandarin. My father said since the debute of this movie, which is filmed in Cantonese have changed Hong Kong films from primary language of Mandarin to Cantonese.

72tenants-prosperity_3b2630f5ccb15e2f674228510b097608

“72 Tenants Of Prosperity” was directed by Eric Tsang and starring by more than 180 Hong Kong TVB celebrities including Jacky Cheung, Anita Yuen, Bosco Wong, Raymond Lam, Linda Chung, Charmaine Sheh, Stephy Tang, Wong Cho Lam, Fala Chen and many many more.

The movie was filmed in Mongkok, where it is a historical place in Hong Kong. One more thing about “72 Tenants of Prosperity” is that, it borrowed ideas from some of TVB’s most celebrated productions like “Healing Hands”, “Burning Flame”, “Ip Man” and “Laughing Gor, which makes the movie more interesting and hilarious.

Seriously, this movie sounds hilarious specially thanks to Wong Cho Lam. He’s such a joker. His acting can make u laugh like shit. Especially the scene where he and Jacky Cheung do a play of singing Jacky’s song. Watch it and you’ll know what im talking about. Hahaha~ xD
